Review: Molly Mutt Dog Shampoo

Working at an animal shelter, there’s one thing I see a lot of: Dirty, stinky dogs–working at an animal shelter, there are few things that make me as happy as seeing how good a dog feels after they’ve had a nice bath.

I was lucky enough to be able to try out the Molly Mutt line of shampoo, dog coat conditioner and dog bed freshener with some of my adoptable pooch buddies at Greenhill Humane Society.

This is a picture of Scarlet, who was adopted last week. She cleaned up nicely with the Molly Mutt shampoo:

While her eyes look like they may shoot out laser beams at any moment thanks to the awesomeness of my camera, I assure you that she was extremely happy to get this bath and rolled around on her kennel bed just to illustrate just how happy she was.

Speaking of beds, I sprayed the Dog Bed Freshener on Scarlet’s bed. Unfortunately, dog kennels tend to stink, so I couldn’t really smell the stuff. But, it does have natural enzymes that remove odors, according to the Molly Mutt website, and I’m totally cool with that.

(I didn’t get a chance to use the dog coat conditioner, but I’m sure I’ll get a chance to soon).

I’m a big fan of this shampoo. We’ll definitely be using this stuff to clean up some more of our pooches. It smells good, makes the dogs smell good and helps them look nice and fresh for potential adopters!
