Dog of The Day: Frankie From Arizona Humane Society!

For the past 4 – years Frankie has craved one thing, companionship.

She has grown up staring at her family through a window from the outside looking in, and she is quite possibly one of the loneliest dogs in the world. All this Pit bull terrier wants is to be part of a family who will shower her with unconditional love.

Except for the four walls in her yard, Frankie had never seen the world that she was apart of, and she hadn’t experienced how fun car rides, stuffed toys, and Kong treats could be. She didn’t even know what it was like to go for a walk around the park. When she arrived at our shelter she was timid and shy, but in the past month at the shelter she has experienced more love than she ever has in her entire life and her personality has begun to blossom.

Frankie has learned that humans can give the best ear scratches, offer the tastiest treats, and be the best snuggle buddies. Frankie is incredibly gentle and although she likes to be close enough to share her gentle kisses she is never obtrusive.

She hopes to find a loving family who will offer a lifetime of love, companionship and friendship.

She hasn’t been around other animals or kids and because she is shy at first a family introduction is required.

She is available for adoption NOW at the Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is just $35 because she is a member of our Lonely Hearts club and has been looking for a home for over a month now. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, a colorful collar and leash with an ID tag and follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about this pet call 602-997-7585 ext. 2045 and ask for animal I.D. number A306325.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter, however, the Arizona Humane Society has dozens more wonderful pets that might also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter!
