Dog of The Day: Lilly From Arizona Humane Society!

With stunning and expressive green eyes and flyaway ears Lilly is one eye-catching German shepherd and Pit bull terrier mix. Her previous owner was unaware of how much time and commitment it takes to raise a young 6-month-old pup and had to surrender her to AHS.

Lilly hopes her future home will allow her to live an active lifestyle so she can live life to the fullest. With a sturdy and athletic build she is completely capable of conquer mountains, keeping up the pace on long jogs, and showing off her nimble moves while playing fetch in a spacious yard.

When Lilly finally settles down for the evening, she likes to chew on bones, demolish chew toys that squeak and/or learn new tricks- although she has already mastered many of the basic commands. This loving and affectionate doggie prefers to sleep on the bed where she can cuddle close, but she will gladly settle for a cozy dog bed nearby.

Lilly is great with kids, but because she is so enthusiastic a family introduction is required.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is just $35 since she is a member of our Lonely Hearts Club and has been looking for a home for over a month now. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
