Dog of the Day: Sadie from Arizona Humane Society!

sadie A276164With unique and colorful blue merle markings, Sadie, a Queensland Heeler and Catahoula mix, has a personality that is just as colorful as her fur coat. This motivated and energetic three-year-old is always ready to horse around and play.

Both the Queensland heeler and the Catahoula are extremely intelligent dogs, and with the mind of a genius Sadie will impress her human friends by eagerly performing the “sit” and “come” commands, plus she is already leash trained and housetrained. Sadie loves to learn new commands, and an ambitious coach is needed to teach this clever canine more tricks.

Sadie is full of energy, and this spunky girl will need plenty of exercise every day and a large yard to race around in. She would be an excellent jogging partner, and she is capable of out running even the best marathon runner.

Sadie prefers to be the only dog that is allowed to spoil her family with love, and she must find a home where she will be the one and only four-legged friend. This boisterous girl may be too rowdy for small children, but she would enjoy hanging out with a few older kids who can throw the tennis ball for her in the yard.

You can adopt Sadie NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is just $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag, a free follow-up veterinary examination AND she already has a microchip.
