ESPN Gives a Great Update on the Vick Dogs

I watch ESPN religiously. I was waiting around for the NBA playoffs to start yesterday when a great piece on the Michael Vick pit bulls came on E:60, ESPN’s investigative sports journalism show.

I know there’s been a slew of coverage on the Vick dogs and their journey through rehabilition at the Best Friends Animal Society, but this is the first time ESPN has done any in-depth coverage of the dogs. Prior to this, all I’ve seen is stuff on Vick himself–what will happen to Vick after jail, etc.

It was great to see ESPN cover this…hopefully it showed people who were not previously aware of what happened with the Vick dogs that most of them HAVE been successfully placed in homes or are on the way to being adoptable.

Mucho props, ESPN.
