Casper Puts Me One Step Closer to the Couch

I haven’t been sleeping well the past couple of nights–weird because I normally sleep like a rock, plus I’ve been exhausted every night from the moving we’ve been doing the past couple days.

The good news for me is that it’s not insomnia…the bad news: The little white poofy thing that lives with us has decided to abandon his bed for the bigger, softer, cushier one that my wife and I also enjoy.

Casper starts out in his own bed when I fall asleep, but about half way through the night I wake up to 15 pounds on my leg. I nudge him, hoping he’ll move over.

Nope, the dude’s a rock. He doesn’t even wake up. I get out of bed, pick him up and put him back on his bed. Soon enough, I feel that 15 pound rock on my legs again.

He got really bold this morning: I got up to use the bathroom, and when I came back to bed, he was in my spot, head on the pillow. I wish I could have taken a picture of it, it was pretty ridiculous.
