Dog of The Day: Nala From San Diego Humane Society!

Why I’d make a great companion: Friendly and silly, I’m an easy dog to love! While I am beyond my puppy years and well housetrained, I have a youthful spirit. I enjoy playing but am also content to relax by the side of a companion or indoors on a rainy day. I love hanging out and socializing with my canine pals. I may be the perfect match for an older parent interested in the San Diego Humane Society’s Seniors for Seniors Program.

Type of home I’m looking for: I will do well in a variety of homes, including a home with children and other animals.

Other things you should know about me: My adoption fee is $50 and includes my spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, a certificate for a free veterinary exam and more!

San Diego Humane Society and SPCA pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped (some small animals, reptiles and birds excepted) prior to adoption. Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to the Society in person to meet with an adoption counselor and complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other pets, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone. We do not place holds or do adoptions over the phone and we do not ship pets. For more information on the adoption process or to fill out an adoption questionnaire visit
