Dog of the Day: Mama From Arizona Humane Society!

070609aveK9Mama

Mama is a two-year-old Australian cattle dog who has a happy smile. Yet she came to the shelter as a very shy and scared stray. With a little time and lots of love, this sweet girl will display her lovable disposition easily.

Like any self-respecting dog, Mama lives for ear scratches, belly rubs and playing fetch. She gets nervous around other dogs and must meet any other dogs in her family before going home. Because she is so bashful, she may do best in a calm, quiet household, where she can be the center of attention. If there are any children in her new home, they should be over the age of 6 years and she’ll need to meet them first as well.

You can adopt Mama NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, a free follow-up veterinary examination, an I.D. tag, a collar and a leash..

INFO: (602) 997-7586, Ext. 1004.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has dozens more wonderful pets who also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
