When I was getting ready to leave the house today, Pom Pom did her usual routine of following me around the house as I went through my own morning routine.

Well this morning, Pom Pom watched me put my shoes on by the door and decided to plant her little bottom on the floor directly in front of the door.  She then proceeded to look up at me with her big, sad brown eyes, as if to say, “Please, Mommy, don’t leave me here all by myself!”

Heartbreaking, I tell ya.  Especially when I had to pick her up and move her out of the way so that I could leave. 

It’s all just very tragic.
