Ozzy Osbourne Helps Police Dept Get New K-9

ozzyOzzy Osbourne has agreed to donate money for a new K-9 police dog for the Muncie, Indiana Police Department.

One of the department K-9s, named Rover, was recently retired at the it’s-time-for-a-gold-watch age of 13 years. Ozzy’s son Jack, who’s friends with one of the Muncie P.D. officers, pitched the idea to his dad about helping the department fill their K-9 police dog void. According to the officer, Ozzy didn’t hesitate to fund the cost of a new dog–which is estimated to be around $10,000, including the training of the dog.

In order to keep taxpayers from footing the bill for the new police pooch, a separate group will help by raising money to cover food and veterinary costs.
