When actress Pamela Anderson speaks, the people of India listen.

The Supreme Court of India recently ruled  that stray dogs deemed a nuisance could be put down.

After PETA publicly opposed India’s ruling, Anderson stepped in, calling for sterilization programs rather than killing stray animals.

The India Supreme court reconsidered their earlier decision–only dogs that are rabid, mortally wounded or ill can be put down.
