Two Dogs, a Dude and a Truck

truckride2.jpgThe people who live in our apartment complex need to learn how to play the guitar–learning how to play the guitar is very difficult and also very time-consuming.

I suggest this because the people who live here clearly have too much free time on their hands. A couple months ago, there was a note on the windshield of my truck that basically said it was parked in the same space for too long and needed to be moved immediately, or else it was going to be towed.

After a friendly little chat with the “vehicle vigilante” who wrote the letter, I moved my truck. To keep Neighborhood Watch at bay, I move my truck around to a different area of the complex every night.

To help make this nightly 20-yard move of the truck seem a little less pointless and stupid, I take the dogs with me. They love going for rides in the car, and it’s a great way to give them a little something to truckride.jpglook forward to before bed.

I think the act of leashing the dogs up and walking them to the truck takes about twice as long as the actual ride IN the truck, but they seem to enjoy it quite a bit.

Note to those keeping an eye on the white Mazda pickup truck: Thanks for inspiring a great little outing for me and my dogs.

Seriously though, go get a hobby.
