A Saluki dog that was found as a stray in the San Diego area who had a microchip that linked him to Saudi Arabia has a new home.
The dog, who was most likely owned by someone in the U.S. military and brought the dog back to the states from the Middle East, was found in Carlsbad, Calif. on June 15. Unfortunately, the vet that scanned the dog’s chip was unable to find any record of the dog in the military’s database, so the original owner could not be located.
The dog was adopted out to a new, happy home last week.
