More Than 100 Dogs Seized From Home in Lind, WA
Sick and starving dogs are recovering after being rescued from a house where they were being kept by a lone woman. In all, 111 Australian shepherds were taken from the Eastern Washington home.
Two of the dogs had to be euthanized. The rest of the dogs were mostly in poor condition.
Volunteers at a local pet rescue are currently working to socialize the dogs. Once the dogs are nursed back to health and more comfortable with human interaction, they will become avaliable for adoption.
The woman is being investigated for first-degree animal cruelty.
The organiztion that is caring for these dogs, Othello Pet Rescue, has very few resources but is doing its best to provide the best possible care for these dogs. Anyone interested in donating time or money to help out should call (509) 855-1402.
