The Snowman’s Devastating Injury

It’s been well-documented that Casper loves his toys. He’s crazy about his squeaky Tootsie Roll and his Tug O’ War rope. But, of the 20+ toys strewn across the house, the number one love of his life is a little plush snowman. It fits perfectly in his mouth and he takes it everywhere he goes. When we go upstairs at night, he grabs it and runs up the stairs with it. Painfully, painfully cute. I have the bruises to prove it.

Recently, Casper chewed on Snowmandude a little TOO hard. I looked down and noticed Casper had opened up a hole in the neck of Mr. Snowman, and was pulling out stuffing and chewing on it.

Eh, I had a great time getting all those snowman-guts out of Casper’s mouth.

Currently, Snowmandude is up on the table waiting for Cindy to patch up the wound. While he did lose a fair amount of stuffing as a result of the wound, there should be no need for a transfusion.

We hope to reunite both snowman and K9 very soon.
