Dog of The Day: Brinn From Arizona Humane Society!

I am currently awaiting to meet my forever family while in a foster home. If you are interested in meeting me, please call (602) 997-7585 ext. 2045 or 1045.

I came to the Humane Society in October 2010 after being hit by a car. My front left leg was so badly injured that it had to be amputated. After my surgery I was sent to a foster home to recover. I’m still in foster care and will stay there until I find my furr-ever home. My foster family wanted to give you more information about me… please read below!!

Affectionate, loyal and smart are the best words to describe her. Brinn always wants to be by your side. She can entertain herself with her toys and bones for hours. She is house broken via a doggie door, crate trained, leash trained and loves car rides. During the day when no one is home, Brinn and her canine pal are confined to the family room and kitchen. She prefers not to be crated during the day. When it’s time for bed she will climb into her crate and go to sleep. When someone “unfamiliar” comes onto the property, she has a low growl and will bark but is never aggressive and is only advising you that a stranger is there. Going for long walks is not her cup of tea. She prefers short, brisk walks or runs! Hard bones, rawhides, kongs, plush toys and squeaky toys are her favorite things to chew on and play with. She is in the process of learning some manners — we are teaching her “off” when she tries to jump up on people. People wearing hats or hooded jackets make her nervous and she will bark. If you are interested in meeting this perfect and beautiful girl then call for an appointment. If there are any children in the home with you, please bring them down for a “Meet & Greet” to ensure a good match. Don’t forget to ask about microchipping!
