Dogs of The Day: Tyson and Chloe From Arizona Humane Society!

Like a thief, Tyson stole Chloe’s heart a long time ago and the two Pit bull terrier mixes fell head over tails for each other. Now sharing a kennel at the shelter, it seems as though a tragedy has befallen the inseparable canines and they patiently wait for a happy ending to their love story. They’ll always have each other, but what they really need now is a good home.

Tyson is the audacious and gallant charmer whose perfect day only needs two ingredients- a spacious yard and a toy to chase. The one-year-old has an athletic build and would be perfect for an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys hikes, long winded runs and long walks through the park. When exhaustion finally settles in he is more than willing to leap into his owners arms and cuddle on the couch.

Enduring and sweet-natured, Chloe on the other hand likes things calm and quiet. The 11-month-old would much rather sleep in until noon, go for a short stroll around the block and spend the rest of the day relaxing on a cozy dog bed with Tyson by her side.

The two are leash and housetrained and eagerly perform all of the basic commands if the reward is a small piece of cheese. The two must find a home that will welcome two small but big-hearted canines as they’ve been placed on the either buddy-system. A family meet and greet is required so bring the kids and your current canine to the shelter.

They are available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Their adoption fee together is just $35 since they are members of our Lonely Heart’s club. This fee includes their spay and neuter surgery, vaccines, colorful collars and leashes with AHS I.D. tags, and a follow-up veterinary exam for both.
