Dog Of The Day: Dino From Arizona Humane Society!

If there is one thing that Dino is capable of it’s being a loyal and faithful friend. At the age of one, Dino is very laid-back and mellow preferring to lounge on the couch or dog bed while he watches his owner complete household tasks rather than dive in and offer assistance. However, he will roll off the couch and put all four paws on the ground if he sees his leash come out of the basket meaning it is time for his evening stroll around the neighborhood.

Never in a hurry to do anything, this lazy Pit bull terrier will mosey down the side walk taking the time to smell the roses pushing his wet nose into the peddles. A perfect day for this sweet doggie requires only a comfortable couch and someone to give him a long belly rub.

Dino is a perfect gentleman who is very well-mannered and prefers to be indoors with his family. He will follow those he loves most around the house and lie at the feet of his owner wherever they finally settle. He has mastered the “sit” and “shake” commands but his favorite trick is looking exceptionally handsome while he sleeps on a dog bed with all four paws in the air. He will need a patient coach to teach him more advanced and impressing tricks.

He lived with other dogs in his previous home but a dog introduction is required. He hasn’t been around children or cats but has a very gentle demeanor that may suit a home with kids.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in
Phoenix. Since he is a member of our Lonely Heart’s club, his adoption fee is just $35. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful leash and a collar with an AHS I.D. tag as well as a follow-up veterinary exam.
