Pros: Did a great job quickly healing the hot spots on my pooch Casper.  I’ve used other hot spot sprays and ointments on Casper The Kid, but they usually contain alcohol, which generally leads to an unpleasant experience for the pooch. The Hot Spot Helper contains good, soothing stuff like aloe, sea kelp and cucumber.

Cons: The bottle size is only 2 ounces. If you have a bigger dog that is prone to hot spots, you might want to have more than one bottle of this on-hand.

Price: A 2 oz. bottle retails for about 5 bucks
