Great Car, Great Cause

Nissan GT-R Auction

Most dogs love a ride in the car–imagine how happy you’d both be if you went for a ride in this baby.

Virginia-based SC-Customs is auctioning off a 2009 Nissan GT-R. This supercar has a huge following in Japan and will be available for the first time in the United States in Fall 2008.

SC Customs will be donating 50 percent of the proceeds of the auction to Friends of Homeless Animals, a no-kill animal shelter based in Northern Virginia. The shelter, which functions soley on volunteers and donations, cares for more than 100 dogs and 80 cats.

The auction will run until Fall 2008 and will coincide with the release date of the GT-R in the United States (the exact release date is not known at this time, but is estimated to be some time in September or October).
