With the debut of “Marmaduke” on Friday, MovieTickets.com polled moviegoers to see which pop-culture pooch is top dog.

Beethoven was tapped as the fans’ favorite pooch with 28 percent of the vote, while Old Yeller came in a close second with 24 percent of the vote.
