Dog of The Day: Rhoda From Arizona Humane Society!

For the past month Rhoda, a brindle Pit Bull terrier has been looking for a place to call home. Being just 7-Months-Old, she is full of energy and this thrill seeker loves adventure. She can be boisterous at times so a dog introduction is required because some dogs may not appreciate her enthusiasm.

Rhoda will need a human pal who has a brisk outlook on life and will be sure to devote plenty of time to long walks every day and other fun activities like playing ball in the yard. After a long walk, this smart doggie is ready for a challenging Kong toy filled with peanut butter and treats which will make the next few hours pass by quickly. In the evening she likes to lounge around in the living room and watch television from the comfort of her own dog bed.

Rhoda is at the perfect age to start basic training and this clever girl has lots of potential so learning new commands should be easy for a patient two-legged coach.

Bring the whole family to the shelter to meet this special girl and see if she is the right match for you.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee has been reduced to just $35. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
