Dog of The Day: Casey From Arizona Humane Society!
Many people may be under the impression that shelters only offer mutts and untrained dogs in their adoption kennels; however the Arizona Humane Society receives just about everything including purebred, well-mannered dogs like Casey. This gorgeous Boxer knows what it takes to be an exceptional family pet, and because she is easygoing, knows all the basic commands and is housetrained she is sure to be a sensational pet.
At the age of eight, Casey enjoys relaxing as much as possible, but when a rowdy pup trampled into her life and her previous home she began to protest. In the end, her family made the decision to keep the other dog and pitch their eight-year relationship with Casey. Now, the only thing Casey asks for in exchange for being an outstanding four-legged pal is a home where she is the only canine.
A perfect day for Casey begins by pushing the snooze button when the alarm sounds. When this sleeping beauty finally awakes, she enjoys a leisurely stroll around the park or an interactive game of fetch. In the evenings she likes to unwind in the backyard by roll in the grass or chewing on bones.
She hopes that she will be the only dog to captivate the hearts of her new family members and a child introduction is required.
Casey is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $35 because she is a Prime Time dog. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Casey, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A297182 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has many more wonderful pets that also need loving homes.
