Dog of The Day: Max From Arizona Humane Society!

Max-a-million truly is one in a million, and even though he is a small-pawed Chihuahua, he has a larger than life personality at the age of two.

In the last few months Max has become quite the little traveler, and his journey alongside the city streets lead him to a local animal shelter where he patiently waited for a family to fall in love with him for months without success. That’s when A.H.S. decided to help out in hopes that a change in venue would help him find a home to call his own. A month has come and gone and Max’s heart aches with each day he goes without a friend.

Max is the ultimate lap dog who could spend the entire afternoon cuddled on the couch while a bookworm enjoys a good novel or a sitcom fanatic enjoys some T.V. He is spirited and enthusiastic about walks and chasing after stuffed toys in the yard. He is always thrilled to go for a stroll around the park, but take an alternate route when passing by the dog park because Max doesn’t like other canines and needs to be the only dog in his new home.

Bring the kids to the shelter to meet this animated doggie and see if he is the right match.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Max, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A294567 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has many more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet
