Dog Of The Day: Steve From Arizona Humane Society!

It is hard to believe that this energetic and happy-go-lucky pooch is vision impaired. Stevie may not be able to see clearly, but that hasn’t stopped this bull dog from catching sight of a dog lover a mile away. At the carefree and confident age of 10-months, Stevie is ambitious and always eager to play in the yard, go for walks, chew on Kong toys, or learn new tricks from a patient coach.

Being partially blind will require his new family to be extra careful around the house. By not moving furniture, food or water Stevie will always be able to navigate around the obstacles in his new home without running into things.

Stevie is housetrained and well-mannered but requires plenty of attention from his family members. Bring both two-legged and four-legged family members to the shelter to meet Stevie.

He is available for adoption NOW and he is currently in a foster home waiting for his new family. Potential adopters are encouraged to call 602-997-7585 ext. 2045 to set up an appointment to meet Stevie. His adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccinations, a follow-up veterinary exam, a colorful collar and leash and an AHS I.D. tag. Just ask for animal I.D. number A289714.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter, however, the Arizona Humane Society has dozens more wonderful pets that might also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter!
