Dog of The Day: Zoe From Arizona Humane Society!
Zoe is a gorgeous Pharaoh hound and German shepherd mix with legs that go on for days. This tall and agile two-year-old is graceful with every move she makes and has a fun-loving personality.
Pharaoh Hounds are traditional sporting dogs and were once used to assist outdoorsmen in hunting game. Zoe has moved on to different adventures in life, and now instead of retrieving rabbits like her ancestors, she would much rather chase after a tennis ball.
Full of endurance, Zoe will tirelessly play fetch for hours on end. With the intelligent German shepherd mind she learns new tricks quickly and she has already mastered the “sit†and “down†commands.
Daily exercise, never-ending supply of tennis balls and plenty of attention is all Zoe needs to be happy in her new home. She must be the only canine and since she is rather rambunctious she would do best in a home with older children.
She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam.
