Dog of The Day: Yogi From Arizona Humane Society!

YogiYogi is a frivolous Finnish Spitz who always seeks adventure. At the audacious age of two, this action packed and curious pooch spends most of his time exploring the world around him. “Finkies,” as they are often called, are devoted family dogs who crave attention, demand exercise, and love to play.

Yogi can be a little Houdini at times, and he can perform the disappearing act flawlessly if he is left unattended in an insecure yard so he will need to be supervised outside.

After a long afternoon walk, Yogi likes to spend the rest of the day being entertained by a puzzling Kong toy filled to the brim with treats and peanut butter or learn new tricks and commands. He may need some additional training and a patient coach is needed to encourage him along the way.

Weighing in at only 32 pounds, Yogi is the perfect sized family dog who can easily adjust to either an apartment or a mansion. Don’t be surprised if he makes himself comfortable at the foot of the bed at night, or tries to snuggle on the couch and make himself cozy on his owner’s lap.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Yogi, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A288438 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
