Stray Dog Found in Southern California from Saudi Arabia

When a sweet, skinny Saluki found as a stray was brought into an animal shelter in Carlsbad, Calif., the last thing anyone expected to find that the dog was from Saudi Arabia. But after scanning the dog’s microchip, that’s exactly what they found.

It is believed that the dog is owned by someone in the U.S. military, who probably brought the dog back to the states.

Officials at the shelter are attempting to reunite the dog with his owner–unfortunately both the name of the dog and the owner were not on the microchip.
