Dog of the Day: Cutie Pie From Arizona Humane Society!

Cutie PieCovered in wrinkles and wearing a curious expression on her face, Cutie Pie can capture a dog lover’s heart in seconds. She may only be 10-months-old, but life as she knows it has be “ruff.” Cutie Pie was rescued off the streets by one of our Emergency Animal Medical Technicians™ and when she was found she was severely injured. Feeling depressed and in an incredible amount of pain, she was rushed to our Second Chance Animal Hospital™ and after a quick examination our veterinarian discovered that Cutie Pie had fractured her leg. After recovering for awhile in our hospital, her leg has healed and her ambitious spirit and fun-loving personality is back so she is ready to find that special someone to devote her life to.

This 40-pound pooch tends to think she is a lap dog and happily she will lug herself into any dog lovers lap and cover them with sloppy kisses. She is still very much a puppy, and her new family will need to spend a few hours each day playing with her in the back yard and taking her for walks around the neighborhood. Cutie Pie is partially housetrained but eager to learn from a patient coach and she will also need to attend Doggie 101 classes to learn dog manners.

Bring the whole family, including your current doggie, to the shelter to meet Cutie Pie.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam.
