Dog of the Day: Matilda From Arizona Humane Society!

MatildaMatilda is an agile Pointer mix who has enough endurance to outrun a horse. This spotted pooch has a limitless amount of energy to burn making her the perfect candidate for any marathon runner or dog lover who is seeking an agility canine.

Matilda is extremely intelligent and this inquisitive 2-year-old has mastered the “sit,” “come” and “stay” commands, but she is always eager to learn other tricks from a patient and encouraging coach. One of her favorite pastimes is playing fetch in the grassy yard, and she will eagerly retrieve a tennis ball for hours on end. When she isn’t chasing after a yellow sphere, she likes to make a splash in the pool or romp around in the yard with a doggie her size. Daily walks, a spacious yard, and plenty of attention are all Matilda needs from her new human pal, and in return she will repay them by being a faithful friend.

Bring the whole family, including your canine friend, to the shelter to meet Matilda and see if she is the right match for your household. She needs a home without small dogs or cats.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, a microchip, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Matilda, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A271084 or log on to www.azhumane.org.
