Dog of the Day: Sysy From Arizona Humane Society!

sysyWith a unique doggie smile and a gentle disposition, Sysy is sure to catch your eye and steal your heart. She is a small and compact Australian Shepherd mix who only weights 40 pounds.

She may only be three, but this poor pooch has had a rough start in life. Her first family was tight on money and could no longer afford a pet so they brought her to our shelter where she patiently waited for her new family.

A few weeks past and finally someone fell in love with her but soon after adopting her, the owner’s health failed and Sysy was forced to begin the search for a new family once again. She hopes that this will be the last time she is homeless and that her FOREVER family will come soon.

Sysy is undoubtedly one of the most well-mannered dogs you will ever meet, and she greets everyone with a swift tail wag and soft kisses. Her adorable under bite smile is revealed when she is amongst dog lovers, and she craves human attention more than anything else. She is a dog who simply wants to be loved!

Although she would appreciate a roomy yard to race around in, a stroll around the neighborhood will suffice and tucker her out for the rest of the day. She enjoys spending the evenings relaxing around the house and lounging on the couch with those she loves most.

This outgoing girl loves to be petted softly by kids of any age but bring the entire family (including your current canine) to meet Sysy and see if she is the right match for your family.

She is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag, and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Sysy, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A277565 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has dozens more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet.
