Dog of the Day: Riley From Arizona Humane Society!

RileyWhen other shelters around the Valley don’t have room to spare for dogs like Riley, the Arizona Humane Society will bring in as many dogs as possible to look for new homes on our adoption floor.

Riley is a unique looking German shepherd mix with gorgeous “fox-like” markings and a charming personality. Despite what her breed may suggest, Riley is a rather small dog, only weighing 38 pounds! Her medium size and athletic build make this ambitious four-year-old the perfect companion for any dog lover.

Riley has a fun personality, and this enthusiastic girl is excited about everything in life; going for walks, learning new tricks, playing ball, and sharing plenty of kisses with her human friends. Like Velcro, Riley is a clinger and she wants nothing more than to become someone’s best friend and tag along side by side through life’s adventures. Riley is always happy to go for trips in the car, visit the neighbors for a barbecue or go to dog friendly places with her human pal.

It is best to bring the whole family, including your current canine, to our shelter to meet Riley to be sure she is the perfect match for your family.

You can adopt Riley NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is only $110. This fee includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, colorful collar and leash, AHS I.D. tag, and a free follow-up veterinary examination.
