Rescue Group Offers Dog Food For Vick Tackles
In an ad in The Washington Post last week, D.C.-based Main Line Animal Rescue pledged to donate five bags of dog food to a D.C. animal shelter for every time the Redskins tackle Vick when his Philadelphia Eagles visit the Washington Redskins on October 26.
The ad also encouraged people to volunteer at a shelter on the day of the game.
Vick who was signed by the Eagles last month after serving 18 months in prison for his involvement in a dogfighting ring, will be eligible to play in a game beginning in Week 3, following a three-game suspension.
