Dog of the Day: Ellie from San Diego Humane Society!
Why I’d make a great companion: I’m an adorable dog with a precious face and personality to match! I can’t wait to find a special family and home to call my own.
My favorite activities include: With a fun-loving nature, I enjoy playing, socializing and entertaining my people friends! I also enjoy playing and spending time on my own. All in all, I’m content just to feel loved!
Type of home I’m looking for: I will do well in a variety of homes, but a home with children 12 years and older is recommended. While I am initially shy with unfamiliar faces, I warm up and greatly appreciate human companionship.
Other things you should know about me: My adoption fee is $100 and includes my spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, and more!
San Diego Humane Society and SPCA pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and microchipped (some small animals, reptiles and birds excepted) prior to adoption. Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to the Society in person to meet with an adoption counselor and complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other pets, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone. We do not place holds or do adoptions over the phone and we do not ship pets. For more information on the adoption process or to fill out an adoption questionnaire visit www.sdhumane.org.
