Dog of the Day: Zeb from Arizona Humane Society!

zeb

I came to the Humane Society as an injured stray. I had lacerations on my left front foot and was in a little bit of pain. The Second Chance Team clipped and cleaned my wounds. I’m feeling a lot better now and cannot wait to find a furr-ever home.

Because I was a stray it is unknown if I am housebroken or not. Don’t worry, I’m really smart and will learn fast. I would love lots of safe puppy toys to chew on and play with. Take me for daily walks so we have time to bond and get some exercise.

Due to my avoidance and resource aggression with other dogs, I MUST be the only dog in the home, no exceptions. Due to my aloofness when meeting new people a child introduction is REQUIRED. Take me out for a visit and you will see that I’m meant to be a part of your family. Brush me often to keep my coat smooth and shiny.

Give me plenty of time to adjust to my new surroundings. Ask about microchipping before taking me home today!

You can adopt Zeb now at the Arizona Humane Society’s Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is $35. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccine, collar, I.D. tag, pet carrier, a follow-up veterinary exam and a lifetime of friendship. For more information, please call (602) 997-7586 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has dozens more wonderful pets who also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet. If now is not a good time to add a pet to your family, you can still help by sponsoring a shelter pet. For more information visit sponsorapet.azhumane.org for more details.
