Dog of the Day: Gizmo from Arizona Humane Society!

Gizmo is a small pawed pooch who is sure to fill that paw-shaped spot in your heart. He is a tiny seven-pound Chihuahua, that is no bigger than a minute, but he will steal your heart in a second with his charming personality.

Gizmo is a spunky 11 month-old who loves to frolic and explore all the smells along the path on his evening walk. He may be a small doggie but he moves quickly, and he loves to race around the house with a small stuffed toy clenched tightly in his little muzzle.

He will need plenty of interesting toys to keep him busy and out of trouble as well as daily exercise to help him stay healthy and happy.

After a few hours of playing, Gizmo likes to find an available lap to curl up on and relax for a while. He loves to spend his afternoons lounging around the house, watching movies while cuddled up on the couch with his human pal. He would appreciate a few cozy dog beds to sprawl out on with his belly face-up and all four paws hanging in the air.

Gizmo will spoil his humans with and endless amount of love, but he doesn’t like to share his human friends with other dogs so he must find a home without other canines. Being a small delicate doggie he would do best with mature children who will handle him respectfully and gently.

Gizmo has an enormous heart and he is ready to fall in love with that special someone.
