Dog of the Day: Rosie from San Diego Humane Society!

Why I’d make a great companion: I’m a sweet and fun-loving gal looking for a family to cherish!

My favorite activities include: Friendly, mellow and social, I’m an easy canine to love! While I am beyond my puppy years …I have a youthful spirit and am always thrilled to play! I am also content to relax however, by the side of a companion or indoors on a rainy day. I enjoy playing with my canine pals and being in the great outdoors. I also like going for short walks and spending quality time with my people friends.

In addition, I may be a perfect match for an older pet parent who wants to take part in the San Diego Humane Society’s Seniors for Seniors Program.

Type of home I’m looking for: I will do well in a variety of homes, including a home with children.

Other things you should know about me: My adoption fee is $50 and includes my spay, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, and more!

All members of the household (including other pets, if possible) should be present to ensure the chosen pet is compatible with everyone. We do not place holds or do adoptions over the phone and we do not ship pets. For more information on the adoption process or to fill out an adoption questionnaire visit
