Review: Hartz Crunch ‘n Clean Dog Biscuits

Pros: Casper, the resident biscuit-eater of the house, loved these things! The biscuits were easy for him to break apart and chew without being overly hard. Hartz markets these treats as being able to help reduce tartar in your dog’s teeth. I can’t say for sure if they’ve actually led to a reduction in Casper’s tartar, but I sure hope it’s true!

Cons: Not the best list of ingredients around, but at least there are no meat byproducts.

Price: Five bucks will get you a 24 oz box. One box lasts a long time–I usually give Casper two biscuits a day, and I’ve been using the same box for a couple of months now.

Availability: Couldn’t find them at any of my local pet stores (including Petco and Petsmart), but they are available at multiple online retailers–just do an Internet search for “Crunch ‘n Clean for sale.”
