Review: Nat Geo’s And Man Created Dog

I was lucky enough to get a sneak-peek at National Geographic Channel’s new special: And Man Created Dog. You can catch it this Sunday, August 8 at 9 pm.

Why you should tune in: It’s a fresh take on the history of dogs. The show shows us the roots of the dog-human relationship–back in the ancient days of taming wolves–to how dogs have evolved (with just a TINY bit of human intervention) to fit many day-to-day needs for humans. More than anything, you’ll get a nice warm feeling inside when you see the many stories illustrating the unbreakable bond between man and pooch.

Why you may want to TIVO it: The show clocks in at about 90 minutes minus commercials, so you might get a bit antsy after the first hour–but then again, what else are Sunday nights for?
