Dog of The Day: Sierra From Greenhill Humane Society!

Why I’d make a great companion: I would love to go home with an active family with older kids who can take me on lots of leashed adventures, play with me and let me love them to pieces!

My favorite activities include: I love to play with rope toys. I love other dogs and going on walks where I can smell lots of things. I also really like to chew on a delicious rawhide on a comfy bed!

Type of home I’m looking for: One with kids 12 and up because I love to say hello to people and sometimes I jump up and get too excited. I will chase kitties, so a home with no cats would be ideal. Because I am special needs, my owners need to have experience with other pooches!

Other things you should know about me: I lost a leg in an accident a few years ago, but that doesn’t slow me down! I am strong and fast, but my new family needs to be able to care for me as I grow old and walking gets harder for me.

My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, and more!

ADOPTION INFORMATION:
Please note that in order to make the best match possible, potential adopters must come to Greenhill in person to meet with an animal, as well as kennel staff, to complete the adoption process. All members of the household (including other dogs) should be present to ensure the chosen dog is compatible with everyone.
