Dog of The Day: Toro From Arizona Humane Society!

toroDespite what his name may suggest Toro, a goofy and gregarious 1-Year-old, doesn’t take life too seriously. Being a dog that is perpetually happy, this handsome Siberian Husky and Chow mix goes everywhere showing off his rapid tail wag and his big doggie smile.

With an athletic build and a light-hearted spirit, he is happiest when he is exploring the neighborhood on an evening walk, enjoying the view from the top of a mountain he climbed just minutes before, or when he is surrounded by his family. During his stay at AHS, Toro spent time with a doggie trainer and has mastered many agility tricks as well as the “sit” command. His favorite way to start the day is with a game of fetch which he is capable of chasing a tennis ball for hours on end.

Toro is the perfect family-oriented pet who adores showering the kids with sloppy kisses, but a family introduction is required.

He is available NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion located at 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. His adoption fee is only $35 because he is a member of our Lonely Hearts club and has been looking for a home for over a month now. This fee includes his neuter surgery, vaccines, a colorful collar and leash, an AHS I.D. tag and a follow-up veterinary exam. For more information about Toro, please call (602) 997-7586 ext. 1045 and ask for animal ID number A288637 or log on to www.azhumane.org.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has many more wonderful pets that also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other homeless dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter! To see all our adoptable animals right now, www.azhumane.org/findapet
