Casper’s little stuffed squirrel toy somehow ended up at the bottom of the clothes hamper. He saw me pull it out of the hamper and went ballistic when he saw it in my hand. I have no idea how long it’s been in there (it’s been at least a week since I last did laundry, so it’s been awhile).

He’s been carrying it around in his mouth and chewing on it all day. He usually takes it to bed with him when he sleeps at night–oddly enough, he’s been really restless at night the past few days.

I diagnose Squirrel Separation Anxiety–yep, it’s a classic case of SSA.
