Dog of the Day: Pearl from Sacramento SPCA!
***Pearl is currently in foster care and not at the shelter. If you are interested in meeting her, please contact email@example.com***
Pearl is a gentle soul waiting for her forever home. She wasn’t adjusting well to shelter life, so she is now living in foster care and has turned a new leaf! She gets along well with dogs and her foster ‘kids’ who are 8 years old.
She loves playing ball and is GREAT on a leash. She knows her manners and does not chew or dig. Pearl even likes riding in the car! Although she is a bit shy at first, she just needs a little time to come around and show you how wonderful she is.
Pearl came to us with severe entropion and needed two surgeries to completely heal her eyes. She is now ready for the good life and is looking for a home to pamper her!
This dog has been rated “B” by our behavior evaluation system. This means that the dog will most likely do best with older children.Your individual household and pet experience may influence your decision to adopt a dog that falls outside the recommended letter code as it relates to children who live in, or frequently visit, your home.
