My name is Pumpkin. I’ve been here at the Humane Society for almost two months, recovering from neglect. I was skinny, having nursed a lot of pups; I had skin infections and parasites, but most of all I was very shy and frightened.

There are a lot of nice people here, and I’m getting better and better every day. See how shiny my coat is now? I’ve discovered that I like people and some other dogs, one in particular.
