Dog of the Day: Ira from San Diego Humane Society!

ira-sdhumane2.jpgWhy I’d make a great companion: With a big heart and lots of love to share, I’m seeking a special family to spend the rest of my life with!

My favorite activities include: I’m a happy guy who greatly appreciates human companionship. While I can be playful at times, I’m also content to relax by the side of a companion for a nice nap. I enjoy the company of my people friends but am also happy to spend time alone. Mellow and easy-going, I can’t wait to find a family to call my own!

In addition, I may be a perfect match for an older pet parent who wants to take part in the San Diego Humane Society’s Seniors for Seniors Program.

Type of home I’m looking for: I will do well in a variety of homes, but a home with children eight years and older is recommended.

Other things you should know about me: My adoption fee is $50 and includes my neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, and more!
