Dog of the Day Tricky from Arizona Humane Society!

Tricky, a purebred Labrador is one brave pooch! When he arrived at the Arizona Humane Society he was in really bad shape. He had an embedded collar which means his skin was growing around his collar.

Thankfully, Tricky was able to receive treatment at our Second Chance Animal Hospital. He has a few stitches in his neck right now, but already he seems to feel much better and he is thriving already.

Tricky is looking for a family to spend his “Golden Years” with. He doesn’t show any signs of slowing down, and even at the age of 11 he is still loaded with energy. He is always in a hurry to do everything, and he lives his life with great enthusiasm.

He is always ready for long walks, rugged hikes, camping, swimming, and most of all PLAYING FETCH! He will eagerly tag along where ever you go, and his only desire is to be near those whom he adores.

When you come home Tricky is always there to greet you, and he will usually rush around the house looking for a toy to show-off to you. His favorite toys happen to be a tennis ball (imagine that) and a “tug-a-jug” toy that is filled with treats.

Tricky is an exuberant dog that can be a little rowdy at times. He would love to romp in the yard with older boisterous children, and he would be a great outfielder for a baseball player. He might be too rambunctious for small children.

He is always excited to meet other dogs, but some dogs think he is a bit rude so a dog introduction is required to ensure a good match.

Tricky is crate trained!
