Dog of the Day: Baby from Arizona Humane Society!

Baby is a sweet girl who has loads of potential to be a great family pet. This four-year-old, spayed female pit bull has a gorgeous brown coat and a tail that wags enthusiastically when she sees a familiar face.

Because her previous owners did not spend much time with her, she needs a patient pal who will help her became the great dog she knows she can be. Fortunately, Baby is one smart pooch and can learn quickly, as she is eager to please.

She’ll need lots of time each day for play – whether it’s in the backyard, a stroll around the block or a trip to the dog park.

How well she gets along with children and other pets is unclear. To ensure a good fit, Baby needs to meet any children or other canines that may be in her new family.

You can adopt Baby NOW at the Arizona Humane Society’s Nina Mason Pulliam Campus for Compassion, 1521 West Dobbins Road in Phoenix. Her adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay surgery, vaccinations, a free follow-up veterinary examination, an I.D. tag, a collar and a leash.

INFO: (602) 997-7586, Ext. 1004.

Please note: This pet might have been adopted by the time you visit the shelter; however, the AHS has dozens more wonderful pets who also need loving homes. Please take a moment to meet some of the other dogs, cats and other companion animals at the shelter!
