Hair, Hair Everywhere!

Cindy and I are pretty used to the increase in shedding from Pom Pom when the seasons change–however, given that we lived in San Diego and the temperature only changed about five degrees every season, there was never more hair than a couple of quick sessions with a pet roller could handle.

I can’t even begin to describe the massive amount of pet hair that stick to our couch and blankets on a daily basis. Two poofy, hairy dogs, plus winter in Eugene, Oregon is a terrible combination for this neatfreak.

I spend just about every morning sitting on the couch with my little pet roller, getting fur off of blankets and clothing and the couch itself.

I’m really trying to make an effort to brush Pom and Casper once a day. That seems to help quite a bit with the amount of hair they shed. I’ve also heard there are anti-shed products you can buy at pet stores that can be added to dog food.
