As the Obamas find themselves only hours away from taking up residence in the White House, they’ve also come one step closer to picking their presidential pooch.

The family is reportedly deciding between a labradoodle and a Portuguese water dog. Both breeds are allergy-friendly, so Malia Obama won’t have to worry about being allergic.
