What do Modern Dog magazine and Rachael Ray have in common?They’ll both never look at an onion the same way again.

Modern Dog recently profiled Rachael Ray–included with the profile was one of Ray’s dog food recipe, which included onions as an ingredient.

The problem: Onions are toxic to dogs and cats.

Lots of backlash ensued….so did a desperate attempt at spinning by Modern Dog. They claimed the recipe was inspired by Ray’s dog, but meant for humans.

Sure, why not. Acknowledgment of an error and an apology would have been way too difficult.
